(Premiums) 		10% of book value upto 14 days; 1% of book value per extra day for the next 14 days.
Monthly Fees Rs. 100 minus premiums spent in a month

Book delivery/pickup Rs. 15 per visit. Can be more in outlying aread.

Sample monthly fees from the 2nd month onwards:

Policy for lost books :
Lost books will result in a penalty of TWICE the value of the book plus any regular borrowing fee. Members can choose to replace the book within 10 days or pay the penalty. 

Policy for unreturned books :

If books are not returned within two months, the library will replace the books and the reader has to bear the replacement charges. Replacement charges are the same as the charges for lost books.


Policy for damaged books:
Penalty imposed for damaged books starts from 20% the book value. The actual penalty amount is decided by the librarian. If the book is unfit to be lent out, then it will have the same penalty as a lost book.
